Forgelight Marketing Group, LLC | forgelightmarketing.com
This Privacy Policy explains how Forgelight Marketing Group, LLC ("Forgelight," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal information through forgelightmarketing.com, related webpages, marketing activities, and business operations. It does not replace a separate agreement governing services we provide to a client.
If you do not agree with this Policy, do not submit information through the website. You may also use the privacy controls described below to limit nonessential tracking and certain disclosures.
Scope and our role
Forgelight generally acts as the business or controller responsible for personal information it collects directly through this website and uses for its own business purposes. When Forgelight processes information solely for a client under the client's instructions, the applicable client agreement or data processing agreement governs that processing.
Personal information means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked to an individual, household, browser, or device. It does not include information that is lawfully considered public, deidentified, or aggregated under applicable law.
Information we collect

- Contact information, such as name, business email address, telephone number, company, title, and mailing address.
- Information submitted through forms, appointment requests, surveys, downloads, newsletter signups, chat, email, telephone calls, or other communications.
- Account, transaction, and service information when you become a client or use a Forgelight platform.
- Any other information you choose to provide. Please do not submit sensitive personal information unless we specifically request it for a permitted purpose.
Website browser and device information
When you visit the website, we and our technology providers may collect IP address, cookie and device identifiers, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, links clicked, dates and times of visits, approximate geographic location, advertising identifiers, and interactions with website features.
Information from other sources
We may receive business and professional information from data enrichment, identity resolution, advertising, analytics, public, and commercial sources. Depending on availability and applicable law, this information may include a name, employer, job title, business email address, business telephone number, business profile, audience segment, or inferred business interest.
Identity resolution and data enrichment
We may provide online identifiers, IP address, device information, and website interaction data to identity resolution, analytics, advertising, and data enrichment providers. A provider may compare that information with information from other sources and return business or professional information believed to be associated with a visitor.
We may use the resulting information for business-to-business marketing, audience development, advertising, lead generation, analytics, fraud prevention, and contacting potential business customers. We do not represent that identity matches are always accurate. Visitors may use the privacy choices described below to opt out of disclosures that qualify as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under applicable law.

Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, scripts, and similar technologies. Some are necessary to operate the website. Others support analytics, chat, advertising, and identity resolution. More information appears in our Cookie Policy.
Where required, nonessential technologies will not operate until you make a permitted choice. You can reopen the website privacy settings to change your selections. Browser settings may also allow you to block or delete cookies, but doing so may affect website functions.
Artificial intelligence
Forgelight may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with customer support, analysis, campaign development, content creation, and internal operations. We do not use nonpublic client information to train a third party's general-purpose AI model unless the client authorizes that use or the applicable agreement permits it. Automated tools may produce inaccurate results and are subject to human review when appropriate.
Retention
We retain personal information only for a period reasonably necessary for the disclosed purpose, legal compliance, security, dispute resolution, and enforcement of agreements. Unless a longer period is required by law or a contract, browser, device, advertising, and identity resolution data is ordinarily retained for no more than 24 months. Inquiry and business contact records are ordinarily retained for the active relationship and up to 36 months afterward. Security and legal records may be retained while reasonably necessary to investigate an incident or protect legal rights.
A provider may apply a shorter retention period under its own contract with us. We periodically review retained information and delete, aggregate, or deidentify information that is no longer needed.

- Sale sharing and targeted advertising. Use the Your Privacy Choices page to opt out of disclosures treated as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. We may verify requests when required, but we do not require identity verification for a browser-level opt-out request unless necessary to apply the request beyond that browser or device.
Children
The website is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We also do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16. If you believe a child provided information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
Sensitive personal information
We do not intentionally use website tracking to collect precise geolocation, health information, biometric identifiers, account credentials, government identifiers, or other sensitive personal information for advertising or identity resolution. If a future service requires sensitive information, we will provide any additional notice and consent required by law.
Security and international processing
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No transmission or storage method is completely secure. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate, subject to applicable contractual and legal safeguards.
Third party websites
The website may link to services that we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices. A link does not mean that Forgelight accepts responsibility for another party's privacy practices.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal obligations. We will post the revised Policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required by law. Material changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise permitted.
